Instituto Toriba is an organization that invites activists, artists, educators and organizations to create narratives and visions of the future capable of moving people in the present. We work from Brazil, in constant dialogue with networks across Latin America, the Caribbean and the Global South. We were born from the idea that imagining is a political act. In Tupi-Guarani, toriba names the meeting point: a place to celebrate life and its interconnections. This is the image that sustains our work.
